How often does it need flushing?
Every six months in hard-water areas like ours. Some homes with water softeners can stretch to once a year, but North Texas water is hard enough that twice a year is the safe rule.
Why is this such a big deal in Texas?
North Texas has some of the hardest water in the country. The dissolved minerals build up fast inside the heat exchanger, so tankless units here need flushing far more often than the national average.
Does this help my warranty?
